Mission, Vision and Values

Mission:
The mission of Western Baptist Hospital is to exemplify our Christian heritage of providing quality healthcare services by enhancing the health of the people and communities we serve.

Vision:
The vision of Western Baptist Hospital is to be nationally recognized as the healthcare leader in western Kentucky.

Values:
Western Baptist Hospital will live out its Christ-centered mission and achieve its vision guided by: Integrity, Respect, Stewardship, Excellence and Collaboration.

All Western Baptist Hospital employees are expected to help fulfill these mission, vision and value statements. Toward that end, a set of standards has been developed for all Western Baptist Hospital employees to follow. These standards establish specific behaviors that employees are required to practice while on duty.

Compiled by employees themselves, most of these behaviors are demonstrated instinctively by Western Baptist Hospital's conscientious and caring work force. By incorporating them as standards of conduct, we reinforce these behaviors, make it clear that they are expected and encourage employees to be diligent about practicing them.
